Our Story

About Pack 454

Nearly three decades of adventure, service, and community in the heart of McMinnville, Oregon.

Est. 1998

Over 28 Years of Scouting in McMinnville

Pack 454 was chartered in 1998 by the First Baptist Church of McMinnville and has been a cornerstone of youth development in Yamhill County ever since. What started as a handful of families has grown into a vibrant community of over 40 active Scouts.

Over the years, our Scouts have hiked Silver Falls, launched rockets at Linfield University, raced Pinewood Derby cars down our legendary track, and bridged into Boy Scouts — many going on to earn the rank of Eagle Scout.

We believe every child in McMinnville deserves a chance to discover what they're capable of. Our leaders are volunteers who give their time because they believe in the mission — and because, honestly, it's the most fun they have all week.
